Dave is dead

Dave was an earthworm who measured 40cm (15.7in) from nose (or whatever) to tail (ditto), three times as long and – at 26g – five times heavier than his fellow worms, and whose reward for achieving that remarkable feat was to be anaesthetised so he could be preserved.
