A very good week at Southend, the final week before the invasion of orange commences.
First, on an early Monday morning is the Germania A319 departure to Istanbul, D-ASTA, in the very early morning light. That’s the difference the hour change makes.

On Wednesday evening, an Air Astana P4-FAS Boeing 757 departed back home to Almaty after maintenance.

And finally this evening, the return of the Ford charters from Istanbul and Cologne. First the Germania backtracking the runway after arriving from Istanbul.

After a relatively quick turnaround, it departed Runway 24 to Dusseldorf.

After a few more minutes, the Jet2 737 from Craivo and Cologne arrived on 06, whilst the sun was being annoying. My first landing shots on 06 in the evening with the runway extension open, a very nice spot.

A very smooth and slightly late touchdown followed!
That’s all, and I hope this is of interest. I apologise in advance for the swarm easyJet photos which will come next week!
