US Army Airforce C-47 (nicknamed Haawka) what became of this plane, is it still flying?? π Anna π

As Robbo says, Google gets nothing on this (including the possible registrations) except β¦
Haawka means Hello in the Kumeyaay language β one of four native languages of San Diego County.
So thereβs a couple of clues about who/why might have named it β San Diego and Native American.

Well Google comes up with little of any use – a serial would be a good start.
Thats what I am trying to findout at present :rolleyes: All I have at present, and I am not sure if this is correct is NCUNA or NGUNA its one or the other :rolleyes: Anna π π Its in D-Day colours with Black/white allied ID markings. π

The only other information I have, is that it took part in the D-Day landings and parachute drops, I beleive, it is in the US. But thats the only information I have. π Anna π
