Last Sunday I was amazed to see a DC-6 (may have been a -7?) fly over Apsley, Herts, where I live. It was very low, but climbing.
The engines sounded superb. She may have been on a take-off run from nearby Leavesden.
Somebody must be very rich, owning and flying a plane like that!
Can anyone confirm the details please?

Eh ? Leavesden closed decades ago. The Six was flying home to Coventry after appearing at the Biggin Hill Air Show over the weekend.
In that case can only be G-APSA sporting her freshly applied British Eagle livery 😀
