DC-6B

Sebastian Schmitz asks in “Airliner World”, September 2002, page 73 if anyone knows anything about the Icelandic DC-6 on the picture.
Yes, I think I do.
I think it is what is left of ISCARGO`s DC-&A (44907) TF-IUB.
Notice the letters IS on the aircraft.
The aircraft regularly flew cargo between Reykjavik and Aalborg in Denmark where I saw it several times in 1977.
It was WFU and Stored in April 1980. Later broken up – but nose section preserved by Icelandic Aviation Historical Society.
