Hi Folks
Just a reminder that it’s the de Havilland Moth Club Charity Flying weekend at Halton today and tomorrow. Come and have a ride in a vintage DH type, watch the Queens flypast (Saturday) and small airshow all for good causes!
Hope to see you there!

A great day at Halton yesterday. I took a Chippie flight in the afternoon. The visibility was stunning and it rounded off things off nicely. One of the charities being supported this year is Help for Heroes. They had a special winch rig to get the disabled servicemen in and out of the Moths. Well done to all concerned. Looking forward to next year.

Had a great time yesterday at Halton Moth Club.
Nice to see a few face’s from the forum. My father, son and myself flew in the Dragon together. Dad last flew in a Dragon in 1937, his first flight.
Thanks to Propstrike for taking my son for a flight!

Just back from a FANTASTIC weekend broiling in the sun with other old aeroplane nuts!!
Several hundred guests (and many of the volunteers) flew in everything from Tiger Moths, to DH Dragons, Miles Messengers, Austers and (thanks Propstrike) Piper Cubs.
The paying guests will have contributed several tens of thousands to charity.
The charity flying was disrupted by the odd airspace incursion. Like the Queens Birthday Flypast, the BBMF and a large, noisy, tin triangle. :diablo:
…..and a good time was had by all! Thankyou de Havilland Moth Club!
