I thought that all RAF types were fitted with Decca, and a Decometer, or is that just a sweeping comment?
Have heard of Ambassadors having the fit aswel, so guessing majority of BEA and BOAC fleet had it.

I am fairly certain that the SAR Sea Kings carried TANS-F, which was Decca driven, and I think one or two of the export Lynx may have had it.
I will be able to confirm this later

C130K. In fact the enhanced Ranger Pack (deployed aircraft spares) at Akrotiri still had Decca bits in as recently as 2002 when the Ranger was checked for suitability. I am not sure when Decca was taken out but it was a long time ago!!!

We positioned ourselves by Decca for the firdt bomb photos for Grapple. (Shackleton)

In fact, we set up the chain throughout the Islands.

And Bill Macnamara, our Nav, worked out an approach to BK on it.

At least one of the RAE Viscounts had it fitted.

Canberra B(I)8 is another. It was used on quite a number of mil aircraft and, I think, there was a marine version as well. Readout was by using ‘Deccameters’ and/or a roller map presentation.

Civi Dakotas, I know for certain that G-AMVC was fitted with it when it crashed in Cumbria. Though it wasn’t being used by the crew on that flight.

Decca used HP.137 G-RAVL and didn’t they have an Oxford at one time?
