Deceased Personalities.

I was in two minds whether to post this or not, but I felt I had to say something.

Whenever someone in the media passes away, there are always the stock comments of.

“If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything”

“Don’t speak ill of the dead” etc, etc.

Usually by fans of the deceased person, whether it be someone from TV, a singer or actor.
I have never subscribed to this school of thought. If I make a negative comment on someone it
is based on fact not rumour, and very often based on comments that person has made themselves.
There may be some who are uncomfortable with the fact that their “hero” had a darker side, or something
they themselves were not proud of, but that’s the way of the world.

No doubt many will disagree with me. (There is no need to name names)
