Here’s a few varied bits from Southend this month.
To start – nothing exciting a Thomas Cook A320 departing after maintenance.

One of the Aero Contractors 737 in storage after maintenance. Aero has recently rebranded as Nigerian Eagle Airways.

A couple of easyJet’s in nice light – including the special liveried G-EZIW.

December has seen many, many London City diversions. Here’s just a couple in unpleasant weather (diverting in owing to strong crosswinds).
The lovely BA Saab arriving from Dusseldorf:

The airport has finally acquired a Fokker 50 towbar for the diversions – here’s anothe divert about to be pushed back from Stand 2:

And taxiing out for departure – a shame the weather wasn’t too good!

Now for the star movement – an Air Astana Embraer 190 passing through on delivery from Brazil. Lovely weather for it too!

Up nice and quickly on departure to Aktubinsk, Kazakhstan, a 2,400 mile flight which must push the empty range of the Embraer.

And finally, a very rare Antonov 26 visitor parked on stand after day stopping, prior to departing back to Poland.

That’s all – I hope these are of interest!

Thanks garryrussell, glens45 and crispy. I’m glad you like them, as I’ve been pretty fortunate with the weather for the time of year.
garryrussell: Yes I believe that may have been its very last flight under under the TCX AOC. It was at Southend for end of lease maintenance and it was departing to Manchester as TCX32M.
A final one from today in the sun, a Malmo RJ100 in the special Swedish football team scheme:

The TCX A.320 G-DHRG was delivered Christas Eve to NAS Air as VP-CXF…so that’s already history.
It was delivered ex Manchester so perhaps this was it taxying out for it’s last flight as TCX?
