WHSmith is also where I get mine from, this months was hidden behind a load of other stuff on the rack ;).
Must say, another superb issue!

Which shops sell Airliner World? I’ve tried my local WHSmith but they don’t seem to know what I’m talking about!
Bloody hell that’s a surprise! WHSmith’s is the only shop I know that sells it and that is where I always buy it from.

Would sooner pop into the shop on the way home from work 🙂
I used to subscribe to a car magazine, and that regularly turned up weeks late, put me off subscribing. Although I now subscribe to another car magazine (Bit of a car fanatic ;)), a weekly one (Auto Express), and that comes on time every week.

Airliner World has become terrific again, and this issue sounds just as good as recent ones.
I would have bought it today, thought I once read it was out the second Thursday of every month, so I didnt bother walking round to WHSmiths on my way home from work!

Looks like the magazine might finally be on the ‘up’ again. I remember not so long ago that it was unbearable and whereas I used to enjoy reading it, it became a chore as the months went on.
I’ve still go to get hold of last month’s Tha Airways & Don Muang special!

[B]• Handley Page Herald – The history of the twin-engined turboprop
Aha, but it wasn’t always a twin-engined turboprop was it, nor did it start out that way!
Haven’t seen the article yet, but if it only refers to the twin-turbo then I think it should more correctly refer to the type as the Dart-Herald! :diablo:
