dedicated CAS aircraft, going bye bye?

with regular multi-role jets being able to use cheap PGMs, which have became more accurate, etc, while dropping it at much safer alttitudes, is dedicated CAS aircraft such as the Su-25, A-10 going the way of the do do..

or do we stll need such aircraft to get down and dirty, as nothing beats a real pair of eyes and CAS aircraft being a bit less vulnerable than Helicopters and turboprops for this role..

or leave it to copters and props
