Defeating Stealth??

In this day and age stealth seems to be the next big thing. What I was wondering is with every advancement, there must be a counter advancement or some change in tactics to counter the advantage…. Basically is there a current or hypothetical way to combat stealthy aircraft efficiently?? to put it into a situation lets say we take two old enemies say France and England 😉 with the prospect of Briton getting the F35 what way could the frence counter this? (ps I know France wouldn’t fight with the UK its just a example)
