The annual charity day in aid of Mission Air Fellowship UK was held at Croft Farm (adjacent to the ex Defford airfield) near Pershore on Saturday. It was a superb event in an idyllic setting.
I own a couple of aircraft related car mascots (a BA Swallow and a Miles Falcon) so I was pleased to find a Rolls adorned with an excellent Sopwith Babe floatplane!
The fly-in sadly suffered a couple of incidents (one aircraft overturned on landing and another taking-off force-landed in an adjacent field). Thankfully no serious injuries and the organisers and emergency services saved the day with their professionalism. I won’t dwell on that as its already been covered in the GA forum and the event overall was a great success. I hope my small selection of pics gives a flavour – from the ex Swiss vintage Slingsby to the excellent Mustang display and much between!
