Yes that is an incredible shot, I have seen that and often wondered how the photographer managed it. The only possible explanation I can offer, is that he was an airport worker. He had got somewhere down the end of the runway, and then using a a big zoom, has made it appear that he is that close to the plane. Thinking about it, I don’t think the zoom would have had to be all that much really. If it was near the end of the runway, maybe a 300mm could have bought it close enough…..

How would the photographer of got his camera onto the runway?
They surely wouldnt just let a photgrapher bolt a camera down on there.
