Delco Remy P-1 generator…..what engines?

I have found a nice Delco Remy P-1 generator and was wondering what engines/planes were they fitted to?:confused:

Being an engine ancillary it is unlikely to be type-specific. The general rating will dictate what types it would be fitted to i.e. larger aircraft will require a larger genny to power turrets, gills, heated crew suits, large Tx and Rx, etc, whereas smaller a/c types will only require a battery charge and maybe one or two instruments.

I am assuming from the mounting flange and spline that it is from a radial….but which one…. anybody??

It has a 7/8th shaft with 16 tooth spline….
