Deleted and Closed threads

I am aware that the forum rules say that no reason should be given for a thread being closed or deleted, however since some threads that are closed or deleted spawn several “why was XXXX thread closed or deleted” threads and often the reason for the thread being closed or deleted is unclear can I make a suggestion.

In each forum there could be a topic at the top of the threads that when a thread is closed or deleted a simple reason is given, this might help stop speculation and also if people are considered to have done something wrong by pointing out what they have done it gives them the chance to change what they do in the future.

Just an idea anyway.
