I think Mally is right. I saw the delta over Herts on Sunday afternoon in formation with what might have been a Banbi. Strangely I didn’t see it at the LAA Rally on Friday although it might have arrived after I left.

I did hear “Arco formation” call up Southend. Didnt see them though.
They were west of Southend when they called. Dont know what the
Formation was comprised of.

Twas possibly the Verhees Delta that appeared at the Rally in 2011. ( See Google).

No nothing, very vague, but the chap said they were very fast but quiet, I thought Typhoon but he said no, and black! very strange. UFO maybe ?

Any more information? Size? Speed? Prop or jet? Direction?

My guess is that it will have something to do with the LAA Rally at Sywell this weekend – some odd, continental homebuilt and his ami.
