Delta bringing back MAN – JFK

Delta are returning to the MAN – New York JFK route after a period of several years away from it. It’s one of a number of new European and Middle Eastern routes that they’re starting.

I’m guessing that they’re reducing widebody capacity on the domestic market and redeploying it to [hopefully] more high yielding routes. Other will be ATL – Athens, Venice and Nice. JFK – Kiev, Budapest and a joint Shannon/Dublin service.
