With the promise of a few sorties by Delta Jets aircraft and some visiting arrivals and departures, there was an opportunity for some flying shots so I was tempted to go.
In the end there was a respectable clutch of JPs but only one extra Hunter that was from Exeter. However with a couple of Delta Jets Hunters on base there was certainly no shortage of sorties. Some aircraft did drop a wing when breaking in to land.
Out of all the aircraft, the Mustang seemed to spend almost as much time in the air as on the ground.
An enjoyable day for just £5.00

That JP and Mk 5 (G-BWGS) are owned by a small syndicate that I am a member of.

Lovely photos. Shame you only seemed to capture my passenger’s smile 😀
Sorry Trinny for not being attentive. Consider myself shamed 🙁 😮

Great pics. That’s Barry Conway’s WAR FW190 replica, I think.
