Another trip to DEN permitted a break from the lower overcast of the Eastern Seaboard. 22C and no clouds. Beautiful.

It was actually answered a few posts up by frankvw.

I think the Dash8 is 1 year old now (it appeared in Air International)

Ooops! (Self proclaimed master of recognition.:o )
One thing I learned many years ago:
The more you learn about aviation, the less you realize you know.

I haven’t bid for the PSP overnights but it’s a good one from what I’ve been told. A recent captain I flew with was out there all last month just to take advantage of the golf.

I live a stone’s throw from Palm Springs, Skycruiser. If I was any good at golf (I own a set of clubs), I would take advantage of my Uncle’s country club membership out there, and shoot a round or two with him occassionally.

Excellent as ever WD, I always look forward to your pictures.

Thanks for the kudos.
I’m curious how new that 717 was. Look how clean the nose gear looks. That plane hasn’t been in service that long.

Oops, I forgot about SFO! I just checked the timetable, Bhoy is spot on with this information, with one addition. The DEN-HNL flight is operated by a 777 on Saturday and Sunday. M-F it’s a 763. Also, on the current timetable, LAX is not served by a 777, which I had indicated. I stand corrected by Bhoy, as at least 1 of the many daily DEN-LAX flights is tyically 777 operated. I also might add that currently, UA has no 744 flights out of DEN. Usually they would have a daily DEN-LAX or DEN-ORD operated by a 744.

Good catch Bhoy, it’s a pretty obvious difference but I still glanced over it. 😀

IAH, cool. I had no idea PSP had direct service to there. I’m assuming you’re based in Houston?
I’m Cleveland based but we have enough thru-flights that pilots fly the whole system. It allows for a real nice variety.
