Bad luck. You are marooned on a desert island; miles from anywhere and well off the beaten track for any passing vessels – so the chances of anyone just accidentally happening across you are remote.
But…
All is not lost. Provided you can live off fruit, coconuts, and the occasional wild pig you should survive. Fresh water is plentiful and somehow you even had the foresight to pack a few things with you that would make your stay comfortable.
What did you pack?
You can have 1 (one) of each:-
Book.
Album (music).
Food/drink.
Luxury item.
Note
You cannot have a companion, no matter how luxurious she/he is. Inflatable representations of human or animal lifeforms come under Luxury items, Snapper – and no repair kits! For the food/drink bit we shall assume that you have a stock of said item, enough to enjoy it occasionally so that you do not need to put something like a whisky distillery down as your luxury item. You may not have a means of getting off the island as a luxury item – so no rocket packs, aeroplanes, yachts, submarines, tunnelling devices, teleport systems, etc. You can safely assume that you have the means to play your album – so no need to put a CD player down in the luxury item bit either. Say ‘thank you Flood…’
Get the idea? Bit like Desert Island Discs – but without the annoying tune, the large selection of music, or condescending presenter. If there is anything I have forgotten or that you feel is necessary then we can always discuss it before I throw it out!;)

Book-Raftbuilding for Dummies 😀
Music-Any CD. I’ll be breaking it in half anyway 😀
Drink-Any sort of bottled water.
Luxury Item-a good lawnmower with a full tank of gas.
Now…
Break the CD in half to use as something fit for cutting vines. Find a good sharp rock and commence with the tree cutting. Cut vines. Build raft. Attach lawnmower engine for extra propulsion when necessary. Leave island. Make millions selling story to Hollywood.

luxury: latest PC with 10 times extra memory, solerpower generator, military grade satelite broadband internet connection and latest decription programme so i can access anything i wanted and still bother u lot even if im stuck miles from civilisation. (all built into one, compact unit) 😉 😀
book: idiot’s guide to above mentioned PC in case it brakes down or sth.

1 – big fat 1000 pages blank in A3 format to fill it with my fantasies about my verboten companiette. (Plus pencils)
2 – Jimmy Buffet “CHANGES IN LATITUDES, CHANGES IN ATTITUDES”
3 – a bottle of champagne “Dom Perignon 1970 Magnum” to greet my rescuers in style
4 – satellite telephone allowed? Otherwise a fridge for the champagne. Not luxurious enough? Then I take a box of those Fuente Opus X cigars. Ok?
