So this is my first post of something I’ve found out that I like; taking detailed photos to emphasize those details wich “makes” that specific aircraft.
Here is the first thread: The LN-MAJ, a Norwegian Cessna 310. They dropped by at Hamar – Stavsberg (HMR / ENHA) in order to fly som RC helicopters and their RC-pilots to North Cape. They were RC-pilots for a company selling aerial photos of houses to estate agents… Enough talk you say? Here are the photos from the Norwegian jury 😀

I hope you liked them, and if so; I’ll post more very soon 🙂

When I was on my Flying Scholarship at Norwich, there was a part-time instructor that owned a Slingsby Firefly and a 310. After some work was done, he felt that it was flying slow and wondered if the gear doors were hanging, so I was asked to video his 310 from a 2nd 310 (G-EGEE), whislt they did some comparative power/speed checks.
Lovely aircraft, felt huge inside after C150/172s, but seemed to take forever to do the holding point checks!

310s are starting to be affected by more and more ADs – so much so that an aircraft that would have cost you the better part of GBP175,000 two or three years ago will now cost no more than GBP70,000

Beautiful airplane, always one of my favorites.
While the later models are nice, I’ve always liked the early A-C models (straight tail) and the D-F models(swept tail with the nonswept “tuna” wing tanks).
Here’s a 310 B from the old “Sky King” TV series.
And a “E” model in USAF marking as a U-3B

The 310 is an aircraft I’ve always liked the appearance of.
You have captured a lot of its unique qualities in those pics.
Nice one.
