Details on VF-96 Fighting Falcons: help

Hi,

I’m looking for details of the above navy fighter sqn that became famous from Cunningham/Driscoll’s famous triple MiG shootdown on 10 May 1972.

Tried searching on the web for details (eg, history, when it was disestablished etc) but don’t seen to successful here.

Anyone can help? Many thanks.

P/s I’m even toying with the idea of a Tomcat in VF-96 livery.
