Great news! The DH4 is a lovely design and I’m very happy to see this nice repro airborne.
Thanks for posting.

It was built from scratch by a man in Georgia over about a 25 year period I think. It was running and taxiing when he died, and his son sold it to the guys in St. Louis. They ended up doing a lot of work on it, including recovering, and re-doing much of the previous work. There were a number of different versions of the DH-4, this one has a steel tube fuselage frame, which I believe makes it a Boeing variant.
Incidentally an original mail plane DH-4 recently sold from the Crawford Museum in Cleveland to Peter Jackson, http://www.wrhs.org/crawford/template.asp?id=335

So, is it a looky likey, a real replica or just another aeroplane dressed up?
Made to original drawings? What’s the engine?

That’s very nice!
It’s always nice to see a replica of a historic aircraft back in the air 🙂 Well done!
