DH. Vampire at North East Aircraft Museum…

hi,
visited here today, but it was only as I was leaving I saw a Vampire in a fenced off area,did,nt seem part of the museum behind the restoration hanger, it was marked X…. with a 2 and a part of a 2? on the under-carriage door, anyone know anything about it?.

The vampire iirc is an ATC unit aircraft XD622 ,the phantom XV460 is no longer there,possibly with Everetts now,has never had anything to do with NEAM/NELSAM ,it’s just in a compound very close to the museums perimeter fence.

Seem to remember something about the Vampire and the Phantom cockpit being a private collection, that by coincidence is next door to the museum.

XD622 with the ATC Squadron.
I`m sure they had a Phantom cockpit when I visited.
