DH2
Hi
This is the info on the DH2.
Pioneer replica builder the late Walt Redfern who was the first to make plans available for full scale Fokker Dr-1 and Nieuport 24, subsequently produced a fine reproduction DH-2 and made the drawings available to homebuilders. The Redfern DH-2 featured some changes to the airframe, including the use of 4130 chrome-moly steel tube in areas like the fuselage pod where timber was originally used, and the use of a 125 hp Kinner radial in place of the original Gnome Monosoupape rotary
As for the others, they have come from all over the world and then cleaned up for use in the airshow. Apart from the Camel, all have non standard power plants for ease of use.

Alex, Who builds these aircraft, presumably more than one company? Your photos look as though they were taken at a ‘brand new’ Shuttleworth Collection. 🙂
Anyway, excellent photos.

Hi Alex,
Great pictures, thanks for sharing.
Could you please remind me what engine is in the DH2, and whether any of the aircraft have original engines – seem to remember the Camel has an original Gnome rotary, but not sure about the others.
Cheers,
Steve
