Hi all, we are looking for a good quality drawing with some dimensions of a Tiger Moth wing rib. If we can get the required drawing we will produce a qty of parts (non airworthy of course) for a wing building project for kids this summer at our Battle of Britain Air Show. We think this would be a great project to introduce the kids to the art of airplane building and hopefully generate some new interest and show everyone that the average person really can do this.
If you have anything that would be of help please contact me by email or PM.
Cheers

Thanks everyone for your help
That is great guys I will follow up with the contacts you offered. I am actually just looking for a single wing rib that will give the kids a taste of what it’s like. So I don’t need details on all of the wing ribs to make up the wings just one. Far easier to produce a qty of parts for the excercise.
I will keep you posted but those are some great contacts.
Cheers
Jeremy

Niel should be a good source, if not DH Support at Duxford should be able to help. Be aware, there is more than 1 rib, they are not all the same;)

As you seem to be in Canada, try one of your countrymen, Neil Davidson, who can make almost any of the wooden parts for Tiger Moths so presumably has the drawings:
