DHL To change c/s???

Just found this on a website, the proposed new c/s of DHL. I hate it! Prefer the old one.

What do you like best?

RE: DHL To change c/s???

Actually I’m quite serious. If an eye-catching colour scheme makes you safer for just 1% of the time it has to be worth considering. Doing something is alot better than doing nothing. Don’t forget these guys are still hrting from their loss and will do anything to avoid it happening again. I’d fly a pink neon 757 if it would stop me being involved in a midair.

I like it. I’m all for bright colours at the moment, probably as a result of the washout UK summer we’ve seen. My only concern is that it makes the company look like a holiday charter line.

I think it kind of looks like a giant hot dog?Just my perception…

At high altitudes those colours are really going to be visable from the ground! I’ve seen the Buzz BAe 146s flying over and because of their bright yellow colour, they are easily spotted.

Wysiwyg,

In that case, I wonder who will be the first to adopt gloss black as favoured by the RAF at the moment?

I dont think it will particularly help at night time……they would need flood lights to make any colour scheme quite visible in the dark.

I should think that after the midair with the Tu154 they are quite keen to adopt a high visibility scheme.

I like it! I think the reason you may not be overly keen is the fact you have shown us this bright (orange and red) aircraft with a white background, therefore it looks dreadful but I think it is a great improvement.

Seriously, the change makes sense,Deutsche Post have bought DHL and their colours are a bright colour yellow like the DHL colours so really a colour change reflects it’s owners.Quite nice, better than these bland wavey lined aircraft that are coming out.
