Just goes to show how stupid people with a blood lust are.

Apparantly, it was on a quail hunting trip
Hmm, his predecessor Dan Quayle perhaps? I guess shooting a lawyer is just as good.

It’s the closest he’ll get to a weopen of mass destruction………But after they found out that he’d shot a lawyer, his popularity rating shot up 10 points.

Quail hunting? With a shotgun?
Bearing in mind America’s scattergun response to incidents throughout the world, one might have thought it would have been more prudent to call in an air strike on those pesky quail. If they used napalm they could have roasted them too and saved an awful lot of time.
Presume Mr. Cheney’s ‘right to bear arms’ may be reconsidered in the light of this near tragedy.
From a safe distance it appears funny, but I bet the guy who was hit has had his sense of humour sorely tested.

what’s with all these negative posts..
Cheney is a pretty old man, the guy he shot, even older.. perhaps senility kicked him leaving one man’s aim very inaccurate, and the other with no sense of direction.
at least when you’re hunting with Cheney, you know he has a medical entourage near by
