DID UAE PURCHASE SAM SYSTEM???

I remember reading a couple of years ago that the UAE made a promise to purchase a state of the art integrated multi-layered air defence system. I read that it was negotiating with Russia for the S-400 Triumf (SA-20 Gargoyle) and Vityaz (Knight)medium range missile complex.

What ever became of this??
