Not since the demolition days of Richard Hadlee (Sir) have I seen such a competant Kiwi side. What astonishingly good cricketers.
It won’t detract from their performance to declare – pun intended – that England were abysmal. On that showing, the Aussies must already be laughing into their champagne.

The Kiwis are excellent and seem to play the game in a more gentlemanly fashion than has been the trend of late.
However people shouldn’t forget that England did win the first test in good fashion. A long way to go for the England team but they are not as bad as current fashion would state.

The Kiwi’s captaincy was certainly very good. McCullum had done is homework on the England team.
They did well.

Sad but true. Cook’s form with the bat is returning but his tactical captaincy is non-existent. Jimmy might have got 400 wickets but if you can’t bowl the tail out you have no chance.
