Anyone else collect these? They can make great display pieces, although some of them can be expensive!
I’ve got a few of the high-end British models in my collection, a 1/200 Tu-144S, 1/200 Tu-160, both from Historic Aviation, and an Eclipse 1/200 Su-47 Berkut. I’d like to get the new 1/200 Western Models Tu-144D, and a few others in that range, and put together a diorama of Zhukovsky.
I’ve also got a number of the Postage Stamp Planes series. These are accurate, highly detailed, and run you $9.95 per model, a lot cheaper than the $200+ for some of the 1/200 scale British-made models (I think the BLACKJACK was $235). I’ve got the Rafale-N, Vulcan, Tu-160, and MiG-23MLD. These don’t have any undercarriage like the Others do, but they do come with display stands.
What is in your collection?
