Dig on Suffolk Airfield

I am told substantial Iron age pottery etc has been found on a dig on a Suffolk Airfield. Any ideas which one?

My Grandfather helped uncover the Sutton Hoo Ship so we have an interest in that area

Impressed! What a dig that must have been – and all done with war on the horizon….

Was it a ‘proper’ archaeological dig or an aviation-related excavation that turned it up?
