If you find the Canadian version of the programme then that will have 3 Spitfire recoveries – AD189 at Crewkerne features in that version but wasn’t Irish enough for the UK one.

Are there more of these “Dig” shows available since these three episodes only cover Ireland?

There have been similar in the past will post a heads up as and when they become available. Don’t forget Youtube have some dig site videos.

Just those three, although there was a compilation of the three programmes broadcast.

Thank you for the headsup Bombgone, watched it with pleasure yesterday. For some obscure reason BBC2 is no longer available as HD in the Netherlands but still the shots of the U-155 were breathtaking. Dumbed down exactly far enough for me to watch without subtitles 🙂
