maybe should be on gen discussion but most of the knowledge on this subject resides here..
anyway, friend has a number of images currently stored on an SD card… he can view them on the camera, can add new images, however he can’t download them from the card either by direct conection to PC via a cable nor via a card reder.. other cards work ok so not a camera/PC problem…
so, bottom line – is there any other tricks he can try ?
Camera is a Minolta Z2 using an SD card..

on the side of the card is little switch which locks the card…….make sure its not locked

Yes….buy a Canon film camera…. shoot the film, take the film out, process it, scan in the pics….works the same.
Sorry….not very helpful I know…see the thread I started on Digital vs. Film cameras and weigh in…
