The last time i spoke they told me to buy the plane off Everetts once they had moved it as they could comply with time off site, payment on time, all H and S risk assessments, method statements, written competences of people doing the job, insurance and all equiment certified. Although we have moved up to 30 planes since the 1970’s that did not count which is a pity.

I succeeded once, but I suspect Graham is probably correct, they now really seem to deal only with established large contractors, each of which seem to specialise in different areas, ie Everretts aircraft, Withams vehicles.

As far as i understand from the DSA there are no tender lists and they are not interested in selling to private individuals especially museums now and in the future.
