Does anyone by any chance have any information on the Mk 1A Distant Reading Compass as fitted to the Lancaster, and I assume other heavy bombers, please?
I believe this is covered by A.P.1275B, Vol 1, Sect 3, Chapter 7, and maybe elsewhere? I don’t have anything.
I have one where a bearing (I’m guessing just a single ball) supporting one of the gimbals is missing in the Master Unit, so ideally I need some detailed instructions on the order to take it apart (and put it back together!)

The missing text pages are those bearing paragraphs 41 to 59, 76 to 104 and 132 to 152 it would seem. And most of the diagrams are missing too! Please has anybody got a copy?

Terry has very kindly sent me scans of what he has of the A.P. chapter, very many thanks, but unfortunately it isn’t complete, although it gets me closer.
Has anyone else got a copy of this document, please?
I’m sure Terry would also like to add the pages missing from his incomplete copy!
