[ATTACH=CONFIG]225854[/ATTACH] Can anyone tell me if these distributors will operate without power connected? I had one before and after depressing the round button on the right,you could turn the pointer clockwise.It would remain in this position until you depressed the button again then it would return itself anti clockwise and make a ding noise when home.I can’t budge the one I’ve got or turn the spacing dial more than 5mm…is it broken?…or need powering up? I always assumed it had some sort of clockwork mechanism.

Just looked at mine again and they turn in the opposite direction, ie anti clockwise to set and then releases in a clockwise direction. Give that a try.

I have 2 at the moment and they both work without power.
