Must warn you I’ve not quite mastered Exposure shots yet but here’s 3 photos of just some of the diversion traffic we’ve had into East Mids, I taken them about 2 hours ago.

Yeah I know I was stood at a crash gate shooting through a chicken wire fence, I just went there to see the planes any decent photos was a bonus really….

Definitely a tripod or something solid needed for these types of shots. In wx like this as well as natural movement with hand help or nearly hand held you will be chittering in the cold.
If you are sitting the camera on a steady object when you don’t have a tripod it’s a good idea to use the time delay giving you a few seconds after you press the button and take your hands off.
Another thing I have often found myself doing if resting the camera on an area like a flat wall or balcony is ….. to make small adjustments and get the frame right put an appropriate number of coins wherever you need to to tilt the camera from how it naturally sits on the surface you are using.

How did you set up your shots please? A tripod is a must for these type of shots and a remote release or self timer as well.
