DO 17 shot down in Dorset 1940

Hello All

I have just picked up this piece I got it from a local chap who has owned it for many years, he has no internet and is not a dealer and from its finish i am certain its a genuine article. It has a label attached to the back saying DO 17 shot down in Dorset in 1940, not very speciific info but I would imagine not many Do 17s were shot down in Dorset does any one have any info that might match up with this piece?
