Do any Subs operate UAV's ?

Perhaps this is a stupid question but its been nagging me for a couple of weeks. Do any subs operate small UAV’s and would there be any benefit in doing so ?

Here is a interesting thread on a German modular multipurpose mast that is capable of launching small UAVs http://forum.keypublishing.co.uk/showthread.php?t=49448&highlight=UAV

The SeaWolf class also has larger diameter torpedo tubes to be capable of future operation of UAV and unmanned submerged vehicles. I don’t know what exactly is under development in this regard.

hmm…

There have been cases of submarines operating manned aircraft, i am thinking of the Japanese Imperial navy in WW2, but I’m not sure about UAVs. A UAV might be useful for recon, but would it be worth all the time and effort to develop one?
