Do I land?

Hey guys,

I’ve just flown my Air Europa B737-800 (with winglets 😉 ) for the first time from Gran Canaria to FUA. The question is, do I land succesfully for the first time? :p View the piccies to find out!

Waiting for clearance from the ATC to depart from Gran Canaria.

Ive made 100s of landing in FS2002 but sometimes I still make a mess due to bad weather. I download real world weather and the last 2 days have been rough all over Europe espeically AMS but I made up for it today with a picture perfect landing in TXL.

if the runway lights dont show up, i would reccomend having the GPS on the screen, it is very helpfull and shows where you should start to line up properly.

Hey guys. Will, that take off wasn’t that steep, just the bottom view makes it look that way, I’ve landed before, but that was with a small Saab aircraft. About being way off course on the landing, the runway lights didnt appear on my screen untill quite late, and it didn’t help that I was too low, also, it was my 1st night flight! I’ll show you pics of a day time landing soon!

It looks like someone needs to take a look at the FS flightschool

Kool shots, but was it really that dark in your FS?

From the 3rd to last pic i didnt think you had any chance of landing… Line Up with the runway while you’re quite far away from it and come in straight making small corrections as necessary.

What speed were you going at on the approach & landing?

It looks as if you missed the runway, was it windy?

Hehe, no, the problem was my terrible landing skills, as FS2002 is new, I’m still learning!! :p

Did you land? I’m guessing not.

As great as flying by night is, its not the best time for screenshots!
