Just a ‘heads up’ that if you happen to fly in the East Midlands area, the airport has now a new website for information for VFR pilots. (You can even feedback things to them). It might be worth exploring – one of the thing I like (as I would only be passing very occasionally) are the aerial photos of the VRPs so I know what I’m looking for if I’m supposed to be near one. There are also a number of existing pdf guides to passing by various bits of airspace without entering – eg: Manchester Low Level route pictorial guide, Stansted / Luton corridor and more all over the country – see the links tag on http://www.flyontrack.co.uk
