Hello,
I’m after some help please… Does anyone have the 3rd edition of European wrecks and relics? Is the 3rd edition the most recent one?
If you have it, and can spare me 5 mins of your time, can someone please go to the section covering Poland and have a look for a place called “Olsztyn”… In the 2nd edition it’s listed as having a scrapyard with a large number of AN2’s… Can you please tell me if the AN2’s are still listed, and are there any other aircraft listed for the same location?
Thank you very much.

‘Olsztyn-Dajtki Aeroklub Warminsko-Mazur
Round about 30 stored An-2’s could be found here before year 2000. All were scrapped and in 2006 we found still only this one… (An-2T SP-EGA)’

Wow, That was a quick reply!!!!
Thank you very much for your help… Much appreciated. I’d never even heard of the EMOS publication by Scramble… I’m just had a look on the web and am off to order my copy now!

Unfortunately, according to EMOOS 2007 (new Scramble publication), all the An-2’s have gone
Some of them have turned up at Mielec (PZL factory)
But enjoy your trip anyway;)
