Is it me? (in a Terry Wogan type voice) or has Lincoln Cathedral moved about 5 miles up the A15!! Having just looked at the photo on page 1 of Flypast it seems damn close to the fence at Waddo!! If its real then congrats for a great photo…….if not then some good photo shop- but should there be some Moderation and honesty from the Editors. How about a watermark thanking PS for their program?…………….How about only real photos in the magazine?…………Over to you on your thoughts……..

Thanks for the reply…not a photographer myself but having spent a few years there I wondered what had happened to Bracebridge Heath and the whole of Lincoln? But as you say “who cares”:rolleyes:

Yes it is you. Who else would it be? If you stand at the far end of the runway with a telephoto lens, zoom in alot, and take a photo, you can get an effect known as foreshortening. The objects in the 2D photo will appear ALOT closer together than they would be in 3D.
Most aviation artists will know what I mean when trying to transfer a photograph into a purely 2D painting. Dimensions get all out of context.
Foul play? Shurely not, mish moneypenny…. then again, who cares!:D
