Your information is quite old I see.;)
Ian has been married to Jill for a number of years now, and it was indeed at Elvington (spot the Halifax connection). For a period of time he was heavily involved into re-enactment as part of a bomber crew during airshows and displays but that frustrated him more than gave pleasure. 57Rescue is sleeping as far as I know and Ian took a sabattical from the historic aviation scene and sadly sold his Halifax instrument panel on e-bay a few years ago. Last time I spoke to him he was getting back into the scene again but haven’t heard from him in months.
