I was far too grown up to watch it by the time they got the JR.
No, it wasn’t a JetRanger…just a Ranger (Bell 47J).

Whirlybirds was great. Bell 47G N975B and a new Ranger….
I have a few episodes on DVD and some of the stories are a lot more “grown up” than you’d expect for a “kids show”.
Lots of helicopters, few “stock shots” (unlike most series) and a great soundtrack of helicopter sounds any helicopter fan would love.
The last time I saw Whilrybirds broadcast on TV was in the late 80s…BBC had it as part of a Sunday morning children’s block of shows.
Here’s a copy of their uniform patch. The Helicopter Association International had a real one in its archives, I asked them to made a few (actually I threatened to steal the one they had unless they did)…here’s the result.

Never saw The Aeronauts in New Zealand where I grew up.
I was a great fan of The Brady Bunch, though it has nothing to do with aviation.

Yep, I remember it. Was it B&W or is that my memory cells losing the solder?
On Sunday’s do you remember “The Beachcombers”? A Canadian TV programme with lots of Floaty planes in it. Set on a lake in deepest Canada.
Main character was Nic, IIRC.

Oh my, I remember the Aeronauts on TV 😮
for some reason I remember that they were always two parters ? dubbed into English, shown once a week “after school” so I remember running home for this and having a sulk on if one of my older brothers got there first for Blue Peter or something……

Never mind all that, what about “The Flashing Blade”? 😀

I remember watching that as a kid, along with Casey Jones, Robinson Crusoe, the Banana Bunch and Double Deckers. I also have a vague memory of a kids prog called “The Long Chase”. Jan Francis was in it and the OHB T33 in black with the knight motif featured in at least one of the episodes.

I remember the Aeronauts was a ‘must watch’, but it must have been the late 1960s and early 1970s. It was quite stylish…
