Hello,
I know that I asked so much about Nuclear weapons.. But I am asking about the things I couldn’t find information about them in internet
Does the Nuclear warhead mean Nuclear bomb?
Or the nuclear warhead as a small nuclear bomb?
Cuase, they say that Israel has more than 600 Nuclear warhead… But I cann’t Imagine that it means Israel has 600 Nuclear bomb (Like Atomic bomb that hit Japan in 1945 (For example)!!!
what do you think?

first of all..bomb is a bomb, just plain as that..warhead is something else, some explosive devise or even a bomb, that is mounted on somthing..at the tip of a missile, torpedo..etc..

you didn’t get my point…
Has a nuclear warhead the same capibility of the atomic bomb that hit Hiroshima?
can you call that bomb ( fat man or little boy) a nuclear warhead?

Many times the only difference is what kind of airframe the part that goes boom is attached to. For instance the Mk28 was both a missile warhead and a bomb. So was the Mk53/W53. The W53 was a warhead when encased in an RV and mounted on the nose of a Titan II and a bomb when equipped with fins, a parachute, and nose cap. (That’s a simplification but you get my meaning). However the RV on a Titan II was the Mk9 which included the W53 “physics package”. The B53 bomb contained a W53 warhead. Kinda confusing.

A nuclear warhead can be fitted to many different kinds of weapons, not only bombs, e.g. missiles, artillery projectiles, landmines, even mortars. I don’t know how many nuclear weapons Israel has, but 600 seems rather high to me???
