Does she deserve another chance ??

As a recipient of an organ transplant.. it really makes my blood boil to think someone could abuse such a precious gift and a second chance at life given to them by a very generous grieving family :confused:

I’ve just heard that the young seventeen year old lad who received his new lungs on the same day as me.. from the same donor as i got the heart..has just been put back on the transplant list.. because he’s had so many rejections..his Mother has told us the Doctors have told him if he deteriorates any further they will not resuscitate him :(

I feel sorry for her children and family and have to say it is sad and sickening that anyone can rejoice in her death. She made some very bad choices in her life that in the end killed her and in the long run its her children who have lost more than anyone can imagine. If there is any rejoicing in that I certainly can not see it.

Its a difficult one to expect the family to pay back the loan but I guess legally they are obliged to.
Its a sad sorry mess for sure.

Re-joice at her death no ,just upset that she did not take advantage of her first transplant. Due to the organ donation situation in this and probably many other countries including Oz most people do not get a second chance.
Those that do [like me] should be very grateful of the oppurtunity someonelse’s [or their family’s ]decision has given them and not pi*s it away. A sad end to situation that could well have been averted.

Being a transplant recipient myself.. it does anger me that she abused such a precious gift..God knows how the donors loved one’s would feel if they knew..having said that.. we have to remember this was an obviously young and very immature person who sadly leaves behind two young children and a very close loving family..nobody deserves to die

That is a generous comment from one who, more than most of us here, has a right to feel anger. Your magnanimity and generosity of spirit should shame some of those who have commented on this thread.

Agreed, Sandy.

It doesn’t do a lot for one’s faith in humanity, does it? 🙁

Very tragic 🙁
However, hers was a very, very avoidable death and she only had herself to blame.
Much like not wearing a seat belt, then being catapulted from a car.

Rejoicing in her death is however very very wrong and utterly cold. Shame on those who do! 😡

But good news to all the posters on this thread who think she deserved to die.

I believe there is a face book sight where the morons are rejoicing over her death 🙁

Isn’t ‘classy Adidas tracksuit’ a contradiction?!;)

It is indeed an oxymoron 😀

Aha so perhaps the penny’s finally dropped with her?

Isn’t ‘classy Adidas tracksuit’ a contradiction?!;)

I doubt I’ll be that bothered what I’m wearing when they chuck me in the big oven either BB- I’ll be literally beyond caring!

Here she’s saying that she’s sorry for putting her family in the situation where one of them could theoretically die trying to save her life.
Also she’s been a drug addict for twelve years, meaning she was only a child when she got hooked.
Anyone feeling the tiniest twinge of compassion for her yet ? No ? Didn’t think so.
I must say it tickles me that she wants to be buried in a classy Adidas tracksuit,as if it mattered. They can cremate me wearing an Easter Bunny outfit for all I care.

Sure the state could use better the $250k. They’ll never see that back…

Apologies Bee, no I am not. I actually, semi agree with you on that one. No doubt a parent would donate to a child. I was thinking from an idealistic Earthly scenario, when organs went to those who needed them most. Anyway, my point was, this girl doesn’t deserve anyone else’s.

Symon,I understand that you’re a father yourself.
Are you seriously suggesting that any father would choose to give the gift of life to a stranger rather than his own child,no matter how deserving the stranger or however stupid or whatever you like to call it,the child ? No way could I do that,my child comes first in my life no matter how she behaves. If that makes me too human, then that suits me fine.
I’m not admirable,I’m just old.
