Does this photo work for you?

Had a lucky capture of my wifes shadow on a memorial and wondered what people feel about it.

Agreed. Saying that, a shadow can work well in a photo, but not really in this instance methinks.

Where it could be effective, is at memorial wall with the shadow pointing at a name.

Thanks for the advice and comments everyone, The photos was literally a chance shot nothing posed.
It has given me the idea that whenever the sun comes out again to try again but posed, just need the sun now so it may not be this year 😀

Alan.

I agree with your comments. At a memorial site, pointing to a name. The original looks like a casual shot, but the cropping makes it look better. P.S.P.works for me also.

Doesn’t she normally cast a shadow?

I like the idea but no, not for me. A tighter crop so just the grey slab is visible, and straightened might work. The shadow might have worked if it was a little more to the right. The leaf(?) is a bit distracting as well. Sorry.

I took the liberty of giving it a bit of a tweak in PSP. I hope you don’t mind.
Does this work any better? I’m not sure.
